These are cardinal inquiries that few people in modern society have bothered to seriously pursue. Have you? If you haven't, the first question you should ask yourself is: Why? Within each movement, every musician that is performing, every instrument being played, each note that is created, every variation in rhythm or tempo, the tension between crescendo and decrescendo, the interplay between sound and silence, and every member of the audience are all essential contributors to not only the manifest symphonic creation, but to the experience of all involved.
